These 3-day courses are aimed at all levels of artist from those wishing to create their first ever portrait to returners/improvers who need to take their work to the next level. You can even bring along existing paintings for constructive criticisms and help on improving them. Have you ever looked at an oil portrait and wondered how it's done? Join Emma at Pear Tree Farm and discover your potential. Emma's friendly style of tuition encourages her students to explore the medium with helpful hints and tips on professional techniques, materials and composition.
£255 (other packages available) with buffet lunch, (residential/full board places also available on request) some materials and 3 days tuition - all in beautiful countryside. Bring portrait photographs and canvases, plus any of your own materials (suggested materials list will be provided on booking). You can save yourself time for painting in class by sketching out your images on the canvas first if you're confident!
